Writings from 1688 through 1865 include poetry, fiction, song, correspondence, speeches, and essays from a wide range of well and lesser known writers. While the pages of this volume are tissue thin, the book is small enough to hold comfortably in one hand, is very well bound, and contains color illustrations.
