Cities In The Sand (990)

The Ancient Civilizations Of The Southwest

BY SCOTT WARREN

Brief Description:
SECONDHAND, pretty good condition. School library type book, his is an investigation of three loosely identified Native American cultural groups: the Anasazi, the Hohokam, and the Mogollon. The first three brief chapters are an explanation of archaeological techniques and a description of the physical setting that was home to the cultures included. Each is then depicted in separate chapters. The book is graced with attractive color photographs, many of them full-page. Written in a textbook style, this should be a good resource for research and reports.
