The Directory for Traveling Friends is produced as a service to members and attenders of the Religious Society of Friends, and is not intended for commerical use. Use of the directory is limited to Friends and attenders traveling with a letter of introduction from their home meeting. To protect our hosts we do not give out information from the Directory by phone or e-mail and it is not available online. The Directory is priced to cover its costs and is produced as a service to Friends.

In an effort to reduce paper, we are now continually updating the Directory for Traveling Friends. We print the Directory in short print runs timed to last four months; we make any corrections to listings with each reprinting. The Directory we send you will never be more than a few months old.

This does not mean that your Directory will be obsolete after four months. The names and details don’t change very quickly. You should find it perfectly acceptable to plan your travel with a year-old Directory. We recommend that travelers get a new Directory every two years.
