Would you like someone to come up with activity ideas, role plays and skits, and craft projects that reinforce the peacemaking or communication skill you're trying to teach? That was why I put DON'T SHOOT! WE MAY BOTH BE ON THE SAME SIDE together. There's "Something to Think About" and "Something to Do" with every lesson. Then you're shown how to apply the skills to negotiation (that difficult "talk it over" option we all suggest but have a hard time using in real life), mediation, and holding class meetings. Though we had to focus on one age group (upper elementary) for publication, I personally adapt these materials for all ages. I'd love to hear of your experiences using this resource. - Kathy Beckwith
