Evie loves the garden, and she loves it especially on Mondays when George the gardener comes. For him the flowers and the birds and all the other creatures are old friends and through the seasons he teaches Evie their names and how to look after them. One sad Monday George doesn't come, and Ev ie knows she won't see him again. But, surrounded by the animals and flowers of the garden, she knows she will never forget him
