BY BRITAIN YEARLY MEETING A new British revision of Christian faith & Practice was worked on from 1985, due to requests to reflect developments in society, language and belief. The new version was accepted by Britain Yearly Meeting in 1994, and appeared in print in 1995, in one volume. This volume is almost entirely made up of a well indexed anthology of extracts from other sources reflecting the range of Quaker belief, The chapters on the structure and organization have been revised several times since then to reflect organizational changes in Britain Yearly Meeting, however the rest of the book has not been redrafted since 1994.

FROM INTERMOUNTAIN YEARLY MEETING Intermountain Yearly Meeting began in the 1960s, as a fellowship of Friends. In 1974, it became a yearly meeting. Because it developed independently, it had no Faith and Practice to guide its constituent monthly meetings. This present version, in response to the changes that have occurred over time, attempts to describe Intermountain Yearly Meeting and the Society of Friends both as we were and as we are now. "Our Faith and Practice reminds us of what joins us in the Spirit despite the great variety of ways Friends experience and express that Spirit moving in, through, and among us in the world".

BY FREEDOM FRIENDS CHURCH Freedom Friends Church in Salem Oregon is a "Uniting Meeting" founded in 2004. Since then it has received members by transfer from FGC, FUM and Evangelical Friends International, though a majority of its members are new to Quakerism. Their website says - "Teaching the ways of Friends is an important part of our mission. We set out to be Christ-centered, Quaker, and inclusive. We are semi-programmed, lightly pastoral and socially progressive. We believe in continuing revelation. Our Faith and Practice reflects all these things." The last 28 pages are a glossary.
