PEACE BEGINS WITH YOU is one of those picture books that is truly for all ages. I thought I was buying it for my kids, but I have found over the years it is one I love to go back to and remind myself of what peace is and what peace is not. It causes me to consider my needs and my wants, to remember that working for peace can take more courage and learning than using force, and that it applies to all of life, everywhere (the illustrations reinforce this beautifully).
