Shepherd And Sheep Play Figures

Shepherd And Sheep Play Figures

Shepherd And Sheep Play Figures

BY MARY SNYDER

Brief Description:
Starting point for using play figures in a prepared environment type of class space. Set contents include one shepherd, one thief, who may double as a shepherd for the Christmas story, three sheep (one of which fits on the shoulders of the shepherd as the lost sheep), a simple cord sheepfold, blue felt "still waters," dark felt "deepest darkness," and green felt "pasture." These play figures have become classic for Jerome Berryman's 'Godly Play' approach to religious eduction. Finished with a canvas storage bag.
