The second section concerns the immigrants in Houston. The third section, "Midwest Migration," concerns the new meat packing plant in Iowa that recruited Latino immigrants for $6 an hour without providing English classes, medical compensation, or safety features. In English and Spanish. Workbook in English only. Production is excellent. Stories and reflections from immigrants and refugees are woven together with scenes of community life and a vibrant musical score. Also included are perspectives from scholars and activists.
