Tom Fox was a Quaker peace worker from Virginia, who was taken captive in Baghdad in November 2005, and killed in early March 2006. Three other peaceworkers taken captive with him were freed safely by soldiers later that month. What meaning can be found in the life and death of Tom Fox? This is an ongoing question for many of us. In this small book, more than two dozen authors grapple with this challenging question. Meant for reflection and group study, their reflections are paired with passages from Tom's own writings, his blog entries and emails.
